This year 78.67 percent has passed the Higher Secondary Certificate and equivalent examinations and 61,162 got GPA-5. Last year, 75.08 percent passed the HSC and equivalent examinations and 39,759 got GPA-5.

In 1947 after having the independence of Pakistan many commissions was formed for the development of Madrasah Education. Among them in 1949 “West Bengal Educational System Reconstruction Committee” and in 1963-64 the name of Arabic University are especially mentionable.

A statutory body namely “The East Pakistan Technical Education Board” was established through Act.
